Within Our Reach is a bold and challenging program capable of yielding the medical breakthroughs necessary to find a cure for rheumatoid arthritis. This campaign requires an active and strong volunteer leadership to help advance our goals.
The Within Our Reach Leadership Council is a core group of nationwide volunteers, consisting primarily of practicing rheumatologists, who help to form a network of enthusiasm and support for the campaign by connecting with a distinct group of individuals in the community to share the campaign case and pledge support.
The ACR Research and Education Foundation is currently seeking volunteers for the Within Our Reach Leadership Council who:
- share a deep commitment to the REF
- believe passionately in the REF's mission to improve patients’ lives
- possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- are willing to receive training, guidance and follow time-proven principles of successful fundraising
- want to spread the word about the Within Our Reach campaign to individuals interested in investing in promising medical research
